JustFlourish Cardistry Jam – Aachen 2009

A small justflourish jam session in my hometown Aachen. Hyo, Dirk, Pierre and Lucas visited me for 2 days this summer.
We shot some flourishes at day and night. After rewatching the footage i got the idea to mix day and night up somehow. maybe you like it ^^.

We have alot more footage but it doesn’t fit the “day and night” change thing. However I hope you enjoy our small jam session.

Damn now I am in a jam mood.. Cuso, Dimi where are you, it’s time!

Hyo – Circle Tutorial

After month of delay and overcoming my lazyness here it is. The Tutorial for my 6 packet Display called CIRCLE.

The greatness of this move lies in its fluid opening and closure, a point which most displays are missing.

#1 Front View with Explanations
#2 Over the Shoulder View
#3 Final Overview

This move is not for beginners so this Tutorial is held rather short. The Closer isn’t explained with text, so just watch it, skilled Cardist will have no problems learning it. Or come up with your own – I’d love to see your versions!

I also had not much time editing since I will leave my home for quite a long time in a few days.
So enjoy this rushed Video. Still HD Quality owns! =D

Hyo – Smoke and Mirror first edition Review

This a short review of Dan and Dave’s Smoke and Mirror first edition cards by Hyo. I loved the feel of this video so I though you’d enjoy it too.

You also get a glimpse of his Nebula sequence!

The first edition is sold out so probably the only place you’ll see them is at eBay. I got myself a couple of decks back when the Bucks were selling them at their site.

If you collect playing cards and don’t have these yet run or you won’t find a sealed one any more.

I personally loved this video. Although it’s a classic style of video-making, indoor background and no parallel theme, it showed and focused on the cards and the flourishes themselves.

The editing was clean and clear, the moves were a bit familiar to all of us at first but very well combined in an almost uncut cardistry routine that finished with some gems like that circle display.

Smooth, creative and stylish even in the credits at the end. And he also includded his own Nebula sequence!

Watch out for this guy because he’s here to kick some asses.
