A free tutorial for one of the most beautiful card flourishes. The Flower Fan.
Great job Kate, this tutorial is awesome!

PS: You should’ve made it with your Gold Arcanes though… I guess you are saving them for another awesome contest ;)

First. ;P
Not to “like” on FB though :P
that seems to be the new cool thing to do hahaha
Good but proper credit would be nice instead of ripping off someone elses move to promote yourself. Hey I might teach the Jackson 5 to win an online contest in the future.
Who has published/”claimed” this before?
Jeff McBride, i guess? :O
@ David, I absolutely agree, proper credits are in order.
I failed to include those in the video due to the video lenght being way over what I had planned. I hate going over the 5 minutes mark. If I had an option to change the description , I would. Maybe Cuso can edit it.
As far as credits go, Jeff Mcbride was one of the first to make a tutorial on the flower fan, however I am not certain that he ever claimed being its creator.
There has been other tutorials including the one done my Jikh on Genesis vol. 1.
I do feel however that there is a difference in me teaching this move…and all the other tutorials…what I wanted to bring were tips that make it look better. Basically, an upgrade of the flower fan as we know it. I don’t like seeing 180 degree flower fans and I feel like people are not pushing it far enough, so I explain how to make it better. It is not an easy move and the tips are not for a beginner audience.
With that said, I just wish that in a way it contributed to the improvement of your flower fan.
cheers
Kate
nice display
poor cards…. huhuuhu
“the pinky and the thumb are the ones that’re gonna suffer the most…” yup,and so will the cards..haha
imagine being held by ekat’s hands,,,,,then being bent in half!
good tut though..nice, even, and huge….
great job BabyCatXD, I have always wanted to learn this one (it looks absolutely beautiful when done evenly) but I rarely practice it b/c it destroys the cards !
