Help Kate and win the “Secret Books” of De’vo

My friend Kate, Ekaterina Dobrokhotova, has just entered a video contest and she asked me for a little help on promoting her entry. As I did in the past for Shoeman and CJ here is the post to support her. I hope you do the same, specially after reading what she’s got to offer in return for the favour.

Here is her message:

As you already know who I am, I won’t start off with an introduction, but rather with a little favor. As some of you know, I work in Show Business, Modeling and currently completing a bachelor degree in Marketing and I found a perfect job contract: International Shopping Consultant. The application to this job required the production of a video entry and the winner of the job title is based on BUZZ alone.

Here is the favor part: I need you to COMMENT (recommend me for the job), RATE (5 stars) and SHARE this video such that I beat the current highest viewed video.

I’d like to take this job offer as an opportunity to also give back to the community.

So here is what you want to do…

Let’s go viral

-Share the video in the forums. Not only magic forums but in the offtopic section of every nerdy forum that you are registered. In the thread topic you can put something like “What do you think about her legs?”, “I think she’s got a sexy accent” or something like that…

-Write a blurb on Facebook and upload the (not so)Secret Books(anymore) photo into an album and tag everyone there with a link to the video in the description.

-Retweet this post on twitter. It always works.

-Email it to your friends asking for feedback on your potential girlfriend. “Yo guys she does cardz just like me! Do you think I should ask her out?”

-Do all of the above mentioned things and pray to your favourite deity.

    Cool, kate deserves this!!! She’s beautiful and talented, and works really hard towards everything she does!! Im definatly emailing all of my friends, and while im at it, post a forum at dan and dave, t11, and ellusionist for her!!! (the prizes are good, but dont just do this stuff for the prizes guys. we all know what kate recently just went through, with handlordz and everything.. she deserves this and it would be good for her. So lets help!!)

    Hey guys, I will post updates here… as an update I am kicked out of the front page as latest applicants ar renewed , so next time I will be on the front page will be when I reach at least 2k views.

    As far as random draw, I drew from the first video-mistake upload number 21 and it’s malnsk , I sent him a message to claim his deck of cards.

    Okay so my video is in 13th position right now…
    lol yeah maybe if I had done something 18+ I’d get more views…I did feel contrainted by the 60 seconds and the shopping theme…I would have much rather done flourishes for 60 sec. Oh well, thanks for the comments thus far, I think comment wise I beat every video, but views wise I am still a bit behind :P.
    Btw, those who tried viewing the video 30-40 times by refreshng it doesn’t work lol youtube is smart :P

    I submitted to t11 media section…we’ll see how that goes…almost 2k ;) …will ship 2 decks tomorrow to malnks and stephen. Malnks claimed a white arcane deck and stephen a tally ho, so tomorrow off to the mailpost.

    Alright, so Bvek1 from France won 2 decks , 1 arcane and 1 other deck he will find out about when he gets it…

    So in total I’ve sent out 4 decks of cards… 3 different countries lol yeah shipping was a pain, I think I spent 40 minutes at the mail post re-writing addresses and describing the items for the customs lol

    I hope the packages get to the folks within 2-3 weeks…I sent them out by plane, so yeah hit me up when you get them :)
