Legend of Zelda’s TRIFORCE One Handed Display with Playing Cards
Posted on: August 19, 2009
“This is the hardest one handed display ever created. I mean, this really IS crazy.
Have you ever tried doing a simple house of cards onto a table?
Have you tried doing it using only one hand?
Now try it without a table and form this huge sculpture in 40 seconds!!!
This is insane…
If you like good card flourishes or at least you have played The Legend of Zelda then I’ll understand if you can’t stop replaying this video over and over again.”
-Alejandro Portela
“I did play legend of zelda myself and forming a one-handed triforce is an idea that has been tickling that fractal-friendly mind of mine ever since I did my first square struct.
The complex nature of that particular structure obviously wouldn’t allow me to do a quick and flashy formation, yet I wanted something pleasing to watch…
The solution was to make the formation itself a crazy recasting sequence, made of structures like the pentagon, the square in pentagon, the house, and the triple triad, leading to that dream-come-true climax.”

well, this idea is surely half-baked but it does smell good in the oven.
since you’re obviously not a quitter I imagine in a year or two you’ll post a video of yourself executing one of these at a better speed. till then its just your standard ryoma vid, “great concepts done poorly”

Thanks for the nice comments everyone, I’m sorry about redoing a vid of a move that was already in another vid of mine but at least the atmosphere was made different ^_^
@trashface:
I don’t know who you are (most likely a poor trashman impersonation), but you should re-read my paragraph to understand better what that vid is, or maybe you should watch the vid before commenting… we obviously aren’t talking about the same thing given all the other commments here and on youtube.

Nice video man. The different editing is refreshing for a change.
@trashface and all the other haterz:
I wish I could see your stupid faces when Ryoma’s next video will be out. Structure work and routining at it’s best. It will be enough to make all you haterz and hardcorez shut up once and for all.

I thought you don’t like when people say the word “haterz”?

Nice display Ryoma. I really liked the way you built up on each structure to finally get the triforce.
Also I thought I recognised the music but wasn’t sure until the end. It was nice to hear some X Japan in a video.

@Jamal… Once more, I’m in awe of your ignorance. You don’t even realize when you’re being made fun of.
Sliders ftw. :D

lol didn’t know about those square burgers, they don’t exist here. xD Thanks for sharing that burger knowledge, you’re definitely not “McDonald’s Mike” for nothing :D
August 24th, 2009 at 2:11 pm
@Hiro : I’m glad some people do see it as a recasting sequence and not as a single card struct :) :)
As for X-Japan haha I used to be a big fan of j-rock, I didn’t expect people to recognize it, well done ^___^
