Sunday Cards – Bicycle Raider Deck
Posted on: June 28, 2009Hey guys I’ve been talking with our official dealer AceKing and we decided that we are going to present you a different deck of playing cards every weekend with a special offer for my subscribers.
Let’s start with the rather new Raider Deck …
The Bicycle Raider deck (click for more photos) is the accumulation of years of work by a multitude of magicians, graphic artists, and printing experts. Even before the deck is opened, the box alone alludes that the Raider deck is something special.
When the cellophane is taken off and the cards removed from the pack, the black backing, highest casino grade stock, and Bicycle’s own air-cushion finish allow you to immediately fan the cards as if they were an oiled machine. The red numbers, letters, hearts, and diamonds against the black background make every letter, number, and pip pop. The white clubs and spades create a contrast that can grab attention from across the room. Each deck includes jokers that have a full haunting portrait that can create a sly reveal.
# Most durable stock available.
# Black border and background.
# Black pressed twice to get darkest black possible.
# White and red pips and midnight royals (Classic royals on black background rather than just inverted.)
# Card revelation built into the jokers.
# Included double back card
Here is the good stuff…
Just mention “thecuso” in the note section of your paypal payment when you buy a brick of Raiders and I’ll throw in free a set of (red/blue) Bicycle Safety backs.

I got a deck. The joker reveal is nice, but the cards are two fancy to not be confusing and warp far to easily to be useful. fine for leaving on your shelf and using when you feel like looking overtly cool, but not for everyday use.

I don’t like the jokers for some reason. I like the high contrast court faces.

How much is this deck?

i don like the cards. they warp really easy but is a nice deck to have( or at least to collect)
i like for magic but for flourishing, no way
by the way shadow masters are 2 dolars more expensive
but that 2 dolars make a real diference. btw arcanes are really good, but i prefer shadows, if you buy arcane the withe is the best of both
