A little hardcore Xtreme Card Manipulation for a change. This time a tribute to De’vo vom Schattenreich, the founder of Handlordz, Superhandz and the term XCM by Tracy.
This chinese guy does some crazy stuff with those armspreads, fans and springs. Not the kind of cardistry we see around here lately but very flashy and inspiring nevertheless.
At least him understands that black backgrounds are boring!
Not too much editing and a nice location to shoot your flourishes is enough to keep us entertained.
Is this the kind of cardistry that you like? Share your thoughts!

Jesus, some smooth moves there. First half i was losing a bit of attention (it’s early morning while i’m watching this now) but towards the second half he pulled off some insane difficult moves. Especially that sideways waterfall, looked like a flippin’ dragon!
Would love to see a smooth and sustained routine from this guy. Maybe in the future?
Good job!

Boy, you dream the wildest dreams and your moves are like INSANE! The beginning of the video was like ??? (i nearly switched off) but Im glad I didnt coz the rest of it blew me back to when I was a child and seeing XCM for the first time. U’re just INSANE man!

That was by far one of the best video’s I have seen in a long time… Those moves were insane, now this is the type of flourishes I would love to see, two handed cuts are overdone these days, and this was a complete breath of fresh air!
That sideways waterfall made me swear out loud, it was that good..

Hated the filming, editing, production and presentation….but you cannot deny the sickness that just took place. The moves were great..inspirational to say the least.

OMG sick video. The production sucked but the moves were great. That’s all that matters.

What do you guys care about more to give a 5 stars rating? Moves or video production?
What if this was shot in a dark room with a poor 15fps webcam?
May 18th, 2009 at 9:50 am
umm. what? lol he did a flipback so that makes it a tribute to de’vo/
killer vid though, did that sideways waterfall better than ali.
May 18th, 2009 at 9:52 am

Awesome moves you have in there. That sideways waterfall, damn!
May 19th, 2009 at 1:21 am
Alot of those moves were pretty tight!
The editing was making me want to punch small children, but the moves calmed me. :P
Hope to see more of this dood.

May 19th, 2009 at 9:39 pm
Well the name of the video is literally translated word for word as ‘To Devo give respect’. >.> Yeah. So basically thats what makes it a tribute video.

Great technique Tracy Ryoma. The most impressive one was the air spread ribbon (waterfall thingy), very long instead, but how come no credits, I think this move was first started from ALIAS by Ali Al Basri, posted in Decknique (?)… What a waste there right. Correct me if I’m wrong
