Razorback – Unconfident Tutorial

This is the Tutorial for one of my first moves “unconfident”. I’m loving it. Seems kinda sloppy in this video but I hope you enjoy it! Have fun learning it, I had fun teaching it.

Music: Stick to your Guns – Interlude (not War from a Harlots mouth!)

I love the smoothness and the quality of the tutorial. Good job JF guys!

  2. kiDex Says:

Awesome cut , but i need some tips on the spin , how do you spin it so long?

  3. TheCuso Says:

I’d suggest bending the cards slightly and keeping your palm as parallel to the ground as possible.

  4. Razorback Says:

    Whoa, thanks for bloggin dude!

    @kiDex:
It’s almost like the spin from “Spinning Top” or “Spinning double” from D&D or Frank Garcia. An important thing is card condition, they need to be sleightly bended so they spin longer (:

    I love the fountain background!

I really liked it. Nice work!

  7. Marco M Says:

I don’t get it. You said here this is one of your first move, but in the teaser vid you say it’s your new move. Why?

  8. TheCuso Says:

i think he wanted to say it was his first tutorial, right?

  9. Razorback Says:

Yea, if I say “this is one of my first moves” it can also mean that this is my new move? I haven’t released the Teaser nor the Tutorial at the moment I created that move. I hope you get what I mean (: But thanks for watching the Teaser, haha :D

The best part about this video, in my opinion, is how he rubs his thumb with his fingers in his right hand as the packet spins on the deck.

    TOTALLY awesome!

  11. TheCuso Says:

Yeah, i liked that too. Makes him look so confident with himself.

    Really nice little touch :)

  12. Razorback Says:

All this positive feedback blows my mind. You’re awsome, thanks guys!

  13. sean Says:

you performed and taught it nicely, but it’s nothing out of this world. still, good on you for helping out beginners, I’m sure some people will want to learn it.

  14. TheCuso Says:

For me complexity doesn’t mean superiority.
In fact most of the stuff i create is based on the principle that simple can be beautiful. I mean, it’s not ONLY about the skills and dificulty you know?

But hey, every flourisher has it’s own style and personality, or at least i hope it was that way for everyone…

I’m one of those that wanted to learn it, even though i can’t call myself a beginner anymore like i used to not so long ago.

  15. sean Says:

lol I wasn’t implying you were a beginner for learning it :P
I guess I’m just talking about myself when I say I don’t think it’s anything new, I’ve done this type of thing in and out and around the corner for so long. It’s a pretty flourish though, I can see why you like it.

    For some Background information:
Unconfident is inspired by “Black Coffe”. I loved the flow of Dimitris move, thats why I created unconfident – in my opinion it flows very well, learn it and u’ll see :D But still, im thankfull for your opinion sean!

  17. alt70 Says:
