Summer is coming and we need fresh stuff in the blog. How about a 3 card mills mess to begin with?
Max has proven to be our favourite XCMer from Handlordz with his incredible card manipulation skills.
I’m not a big fan of juggling but Max’s videos always make me try to give it a go, only to discover how stupid I look when I’m bent down trying to pick up my cards. This kind of flourishes are probably the hardest to do and the ones that usually leave a stronger impression on laymen.

Jeez Sean your an idiot. He didn’t do the fan catch. He just throw the card and caught it in the same hand he was holding the fan with. It’s an old idea that’s been around forever. Magicians use it shit. Also the “fan catch” isn’t exactly Andrei’s idea. Throwing a card in the air and catching it in a fan is an old idea. If you don’t believe me then go ask Huron. I’m pretty sure there the top Hlers because of there skill and dedication to the art. tbh you, shoeman, nebel were all at HL but you were not as good as the top Hlers. Max and dinous clearly kicked shoeman out of the tourny, you were nonexistent, and so was nebel. You three weren’t skilled enough to be the top hlers so you just left whinning like little bitches. Sore losers. Btw not a single one of you was being attacked by devo on his forums. Shoeman didn’t like to lose so he complained to the judges and insulted them thus giving him a ban. Ryoma you showed your gay affection to nebel in you avatar, and you said “devo suckz cockz” thus resulting in your ban. Nebel well you never were anything special since you couldn’t do anything but fans and armspreads lol. So basically all of you are hypocrites for making accusation about devo and saying that he steals moves, and attacks members, yet in reality you are the only people doing that. Oh and one more thing. All these random people like sean, dimitri, etc are all fanboi’s trying to back you up. Devo has done more for this art then any of you combined. That’s a fact.

I was banned mainly because of the recasting video I refused to pretend it was his work, as he was mad because he had to cancel his schattenreich dvd :( too bad for him.
About Nebel, it seems you ignore the fact he was a memeber of the “HL hardcores forum” until they shutted it down because ’someone’ was leaking information.
Yeah, you read well he was an “HL hardcore” according to de’vo who let him in that private forum, not a self-proclaimed “hardcore” like you who actually has no more than the average noob status on HL.
You would like checking the definition of “fact” because there are hardly any facts when it comes to De’vo. And you should check “art” also because the only thing that old brat cares about is his ego.
And I don’t care about the art on the whole, I’m not stupid enough to believe I have a holy mission to accomplish. I, just like the rest of FWA, just do my moves, which obviously surpass de’vo’s shitty skill level, and that’s the very reason why you have never seen him attack us on that field publicly.
If I were you I would just stop trying to think, it always result in epic failures.

Cardistry is a trem used by magicians. The art that we do is called xcm. Oh and I don’t plan on sueing you for doing fans and armspreads. I just hate it when you say that your groups videos are better than most of the hardcore Hl videos, yet your video show how much limited skill you have.

In fact he is a great fanner imo but not the greatest. Honestly better than Jerry and Webghost? Jerry’s companion 1 dvd show him doing every fan in his book EOPCF. Yeah the book that nebel, and others have studied from. He has had many years of experience meeting some of the best fanners from around the world. He has alot of unpublished work that involves fanning deck routines, too new fans, etc. Nebel is not better than him. As for webghost well I think that you and the FWA group are the only people that think nebel is a better fanner than web. Watch some of his videos in the HL collab and UCA vids. Even Scott said he has some of the best fans.

He went from forum member to artist. It turned out that being a top hler did get him somewhere. He does private gigs, competed in the ulmen trails, and even met devo. The avatar and signature were changed AFTER de’vo changed my user title in order to force them to delete the posts, as once again de’vo was stupid enough to think he had a great idea with that lame move and that I could do nothing to get rid of it.
They got rid of all my posts as soon as you have sent them a private message about the avatar/sig, remember ? Can you guess why ? Because they can’t let that be seen in the forums… easy to understand isn’t it ?
Therefore it would be illogical to change my user title at that point as that would leave such avatar/sig visible longer although they wanted to get rid of it as quickly as possible.
I’m sure everyone else who read that part understood it without trouble.
This is just one example I take in order to make you realize you shouldn’t reply to something you didn’t understand as it only makes you looking even more stupid… everything you have written in your meaningless rant, without exception, is obviously driven by the same kind of “I was too stupid to understand what you said but I will reply anyway” pathetic state of mind.

No sean I really want him to prove what he’s saying. I am not saying I’m better than dimitri or any of you guys. I’m simple defending the HL members you say have little skill and are not creative. Oh and honestly dimitri better than devo. Devo has far more experience and skill than dimitr. His creativity is far superior than dimitri’s as well. Go ask anyone. I wonder how many responses you will get saying that dimitri or anyone from the fwa group is better than devo. In fact I wonder how many people even know or care about you guys.

(I usuaully feel bad at how deep you get owned.) Over at HL I have a good rep, got a free dvd, already won a contest, enter battles, have members that give great advice and have helped me in many situations. Devo is a great guy. hahahahaha xD “no real goal in the art”, said that way it would almost sound like i’m the noob and not you. You should know that De’vo hasn’t got any goal for “the art” either, the difference being he’s not as honest as me haha. What I was saying was you won’t change the world doing xcm, that’s just arrogant to believe what you’re doing with cards is some kind of “mission” and that every single card manipulator will benefit from what you do !
His last pitiful years as xcmer are all about trying to pretend he doesn’t suck, which would be done easily by recording a short video if only he were who he says he is. But no, instead it’s the same long speech about how great what he did IN THE PAST is. Releasing his latest creations or old stuff which has been “perfected” until now but still saying “it’s very old so imagine what I can do today!”. What makes it ridiculous is how there’s always a line about how he “proved the haterz wrong” while he didn’t (but that’s written just so dumb people like you can remember that random line and repeat it later).
If he’s so wanting to prove the haterz wrong, why doesn’t he ? The method is described right above, record a vid… Have I already said “occam’s razor ftw” ?

It definitely weakens your argumentation… it lacks a real point to make (and by real point I mean something you thought about, did research on, and that left you with a strong piece of objective evidence to back you up or something, not some “FWA is evil” fantasy supported by nothing else than your offended poor little persona).
What makes it bad is such point to make should be the basis of any argumentative speech.

Maybe i should make a post on the whole FWA VS HL thing and keep the comments there. We should be talking about Max’s video here!

Darian, can you ask some of the HL members to get together and write down “the real story”?
It’s not about creating more drama nor to bash anyone here but i think it could clear up or change some people’s minds on the subject.
As i said, HL members are welcome here to have a debate and will be treated as equals.
Just let’s not fall into the “impersonation” thing this time and try to keep it nice and calmed. (If you guys get a gravatar you’ll be able to use it in almost every blog over the internet and will make these threads more enjoyable to read).
I might think this blog is pro-FWAish but that’s because they comment here a lot and the discussion is not really balanced, that’s why im inviting the HLers to come by and chat. You can clearly see that I do enjoy the HL’s work and this video (Max’s) is an example by being featured in the main page as the first thing you see when you access thecuso.info
On a side note, Darian, i don’t think you must defend anyone, although you are in your rights, because everyone involved in this discussion is grown enough to share their own thoughts speaking on behalf of themselves and the best part is that they don’t even need to register an account to write here so it’s pretty easy.
I’d also ask you guys, both FWAers and HLers, to try not to insult or base your arguments and propositions on people’s mental handicaps, if you know what i mean.
Once again, i appreciate and welcome your comments and i will be open to suggestions from both parts.

If any real HL member wants to go for it then no problem, we’d be all in for it.
Also I would strongly encourage the members of our forum to take part of it if they feel it’s necessary and feel free to write whatever they want.

I’m concerned with who you would consider as a “real” HL member, Ryoma. And if you want to call on the guys you follow to help out to “write whatever they want” i’d also be concerned that it’ll become another internet slug-fest. Unless some more equal terms are set, either no one “real” will participate, or it will soon degenerate into an irrational argument with irrational people.
I’m right with TheCuso for inviting more discussion, but I hope it will be constructive in the future. Although i’m sure he’ll be happy this blog will garner heaps of hits either way, I get the sense he also appreciates the art and wants it to move forward positively.

You should know that De’vo hasn’t got any goal for “the art” either, the difference being he’s not as honest as me haha. When I said you have no real goal in the art I meant that your basically doing something that you really don’t care what happens to it. It has nothing to do with your skill level. Also he still has a few more releases coming up later this year which I shouldn’t speak about.

I have not been into cardistry long enough to fully understand all the controversy that is going on about HL/De’vo. But seeing the immaturity HL members like Darian, -Mike- and Jamal display towards the possibilty to have an open and unbiased discussion, only confirms my assumption that I don’t want to learn more about what seems to be a sect rather than a community.
@Darian about FWA being an underground forum as well:
I think Nebel was refering to the fact that you guys advertise your community as the “underground world of manipulation”. FWA does not do such a thing. We only have a private forum where we only allow certain members who share our ways of thinking. Underground and private is not the same thing.

It is regrettable that what should have been a celebration of manipulation excellence has degraded to this pitiful back and forth.
There are some pretty harsh words here, I’m sure both sides feel justified in their views but what everyone always overlooks is the commonality that we share.
Cardistry/XCM/whatever, we all love the same art, we all connect with the cards and see their possibilities yet there is this hostility over events that most of you know nothing about nor had anything to do with.
Nebelfuchs, Shoeman, and Ryoma were cast out of a place that gave them their start…despite why this happened they are obviously pretty pissed about it still and voice their feelings directly. Why are other people jumping in and adding fuel to that fire? You have nothing to do with it, that’s between De’ and those three. What has made this situation worse is the few HL members (that I assure you do NOT represent HL as a whole) continue to take jabs at them and piss them off further. Leave them alone!! Let them do their thing…let them continue their “hatchet burying” with De’ if they wish, but leave it there, between them and De’, not them and everyone else on HL.
Now, to the topic at hand: GREAT vid by Max, the man has no weaknesses, amazing manipulator all around.

I agree that this blog entry is about Max’s vid, and that’s why my 1st post on this entry was about that vid. However, we are on a public blog promoting freedom of speech, meaning that unlike other places you supposedly everything about, the “topic at hand” is nothing more than what people want to talk about.
Therefore, if upon seeing Max’s vid, some people decide that there is more important stuff to talk about, and that this stuff happens to be meaningless rants, then I guess it just means that to these people meaningless rants are more important than the vid they have just seen. It’s just kinda ironic (and telltale) that it’s coming from people who supposedly are great supporters of the one they are taking the attention away from.

CF, the first comments from every person, all the way up to jamal were about nothing but the video. Then people that are ‘hardcore handlordz memberz’, in their eyes and their eyes only, tried to vindicate some generic, conventional, unbiased thoughts amoung the video. In doing so they brought up several trivial personal attacks, which were followed up in response by them proving to be arrogant fools. I think the situation should involve anyone who feels like sharing their opinion, unless of course they’re illinformed, which jamal and darian in fact are, which actually made for this whole 72 comment and counting lapse.
