Geez, sincerely that was a pain.

Like…One of the guys has got some good, well flowing moves, but that is all.

There is no story being told, no showmanship, AND THEY DON’T EVEN LOOK AT THE EFFING CAMERA!

I beg for a removal of the term ‘Magical Arts’ of this video, for it has no magic, nor art. Just random D&D-ish cuts and…yea. That is pretty much it.

  2. Tarvi Says:

I thought that was pretty good!

It’s hard (I imagine) to battle live, lots of pressure, shaky hands and the like. I thought there was showmanship, lots of great body movements, not just focusing on the hands.

    Great stuff

  3. kafoosh Says:

please. there was NO showmanship at all. The asians have been defeated! DD:

Max did very well though. Main reason this video is here, plus we don’t see this kind of live competitions very often.

One thing is for sure, this was waaaaaaaaaaaay far from PRO XCM.

I am going to start this kind of thing in my city when the time comes.
It is a building block for great flourishers and community. :)

  10. jak Says:

Manipulation as a competition in Toronto had to start somewhere. I hope that Jeff continues to support this type of competition.

Magic Arts Workshop simply made the video for Jeff.

I know that Jeff was disappointed at the turnout. Next time that there is a competition in TO — GO! THis is great for this art form.

You experts out there…be supportive…that is how something like this improves.
