This is probably Shoeman’s best cardistry performance video. It has a nice oldschool XCM feel to it but you just have to look at those smear fans and original ideas to realize how much work has this guy put into the art.

   hahaha ive just realized it’s been posted here on september also under the name of “another insomnia driven video” http://www.thecuso.info/2008/09/shoeman-another-insomnia-driven-video.html, that and the fact that he posted it to vimeo confused me, anyway, here it is again for those who missed it back then.

   it would be nice to bring back some old posts every now and then so if you want to help me dig back and rate them 5 stars ;)

   Oh so all of a sudden we like the “old school XCM feel” ?! LOL The last HL vids that were posted up received a lot of bitching about how they need to do different backgrounds, but just because shoeman does it, black backgrounds are cool now, right? I didn’t see much originality either…. But even I have to say the thumb fan was great.

   You know I kind of have to agree with darian here. I liked the video but people like it because it’s shoeman. There wasn’t much originality which is one of the biggest complaints inmost videos, and everything is the same as any other HL video out there. That was a nice one hand fan though=P.

    all the moves, the unoriginal ones had their own awesome shoeman style on them… have you ever produced a vid with all original moves darian? no?

    Another screwy thing in the description, how is this a “CARDISTRY” video with an old school XCM feel?! Kinda contradictory….
