Engineered by Joe Porper for Dan and Dave

“The original conception for the Card Clip came from Larry Jennings who “jokingly” brought up the idea to Joe Porper. Later Joe would go on to discover a piece of scrap material that just so happened to fit a deck of cards perfectly, à la, the birth of the Card Clip.

Pursuant to form and function, Dave and I set out to create a streamlined card clip that would be both useful and sleek. Our basis was the original clip inspired by Jennings. And with the help of Joe Porper, a master craftsman and engineer, we were able to create the most refined solution yet.

The Classic Clip, exclusively at dananddave.com, is made out of the same anodized aluminum as the original, providing a light weight and durrable structure. The beveled edge has been reduced to a simple bend that hugs a deck perfectly, reducing the size and weight of the Original Card Clip. Joe Porper’s trademark signature has been placed on the inner spine of the clip, keeping the look and feel minimalist.”

   I got one of those when they came for the lectures in Paris. They are pretty good, better than any other metal card clip imo and more beautiful than the regular porper card clip.

   It seems super expensive. I don’t think I’d buy this one, probably just the regular porper clip. Is the regular porper clip plastic, because I don’t like the metal ones?

   far too much for a clip, my friend got a metal card clip for 4$

   I’d rather buy somethin I can flourish with, i.e a brick of arrcos and a brick of eagle backs,

   rather than a clip, let’ see

   2 bricks, (24decks) or a clip to hold just one deck, hmmmmm

   tough decision
