Yes you can make the top packet back out, though to me it doesn't matter.

I'm sure he can do 30 packet backhand cuts that are published in the D&N book that was released 50 years ago in a language that only the dark shadow masters could read.

Instead of trying to learn this, please wait for the tutorial. Thanks, appreciate it.

I'm sure De' also has a way to do a back of hand Viereck and other backhand SSS, nevertheless even with out seeing it, you figuring out a method deserves credit, good job. One question however, can you make it look like the Viereck i.e. have the top packet facing back out? In the future I may try to learn this as I already do the SSS Viereck with ease, but thanks for providing a video....

This is not an SSS, it was never meant to be one and it
was a bad on my part for not letting Daren know that in the editing process.

The term viereck is literally "square" in German, a shape that has been around since time was time hence proving it's not the most original thing you can come up with given some standard requirments.

The move is called something completely different because it is from my family of backpack cuts, uses a completely different technique, and utilizes the back of the hand. The first of it's kind. Sorry to burst your bubble, De'vo was not the first.

I've never experimented with making it self standing...however I think the difficulty to visuality ratio is too insignificant to bother with.

thanks for the info andrei... i did not think of the build-up possible when presenting it to laymen... from square - to one handed - to back of one handed... I could see how that could rape lol

can you SSS it or does it require holding the sides up with the fingers? and sorry about the vierek technicality, I thought that was the first term for the square-shaped SSS (first place ive seen it at least), is it called different because of the method of formation? I notice you drop the "floor" packet last, whereas the method ive seen in the past builds the "roof" last and drops the floor at the beginning. peace
