I came across this video while reading decknique. It shows a 15 year old guy’s playing card collection. He says he has over 3000$ in cards… Well, take a look and tell me what do you think.

That is really sad. You shouldn’t waste so much money on cards you aren’t going to use. I am totally against collecting of rare decks, it’s one of the most idiotic wastes of money ever. Even more of a waste of money than all of the stained skin DVDs. That’s saying something. Especially the Nuggets. They are just casino cards! I don’t care if they are old, what’s the point? They are just like other casino cards.

Do you now where you can get those boxes with the screws ?
I’m planning of putting my very first deck in a box like that.

the only reason to buy gold/jerry nuggets is because they have such great card stock they are cards ment for playing in rough enviroments they last ages total waste if you dont open them they are still cool if you open them.

huh, really nice decks,but for what u placed they here? … i know 3-4 mans, who have collection cards over 500 decks(japan,russia,austr,deutsch and more) from world, and they not have video|foto with this collections. just a joker)

does anyone know where i can get a deck of golden nugget playing cards new/sealed. i dont mind paying lots of money for them(within reason) as they are for a gift, any suggestions most welcome, thanks :)

ive tryed ebay but theres never any unopened decks on there they are all ex casino cards with cut corners/cancelled. Anywhere else maybe?

I have an un-opened Golden Nugget box of cars (red). I have collected a lot of unusual items and they have been stored in boxes forever and I am now selling everything and these will be on my ebay store. I was looking for info and this sight came up. What would be a fair price. The cellophane is not in great shape but mostly intact. tks for any info……..Mic
