Hola Alex.
Gracias.
Un saludo!

My picture is called "A thrill of Anticipation". It#s hard for me to describe my thoughts in English, but I will try to:

I just wanted to express with my floating card that you can touch cards as pieces of paper but you can't reach all the things that they mean for us and other people, the power of imagination in our minds.

Hey, to be honest, i'm not going to spend time creating a persuasive piece of writing. This is due to the fact that i thought this was a photography competition after all!! (which was a GREAT idea by the way!!! =]) Personally i think it would be unfair to include the comments when deciding the WYNNER!! THAT'S WHY I SHALL SAY NOTHING ABOUT MY PICTURE, I SHALL LET IT SPEAK FOR ITSELF!!Anyway, enough of the boring stuff...great competition...love the idea...there should be more of this...good luck to everyone who entered!!!

p.s My picture is the one with me in it...oops (i had to say a little something ;)

good luck...thanks

I love making photos and videos, and I just can't find a picture of a Vertigo, although It's a beautiful move. So I decided to make a picture of mine, and It's still my favourite picture now.

I posted this twice, because something went wrong with the nickname, so just to make sure the message is here. my pic said ewareofghouls but it was bewareofghouls so sorry if i’ve made a mistake in the mail.Anyways I wanted my pic to make clear that cards are weapons in the right hands. Not as in to kill people. But more the moment that you do XCM or magic and people are like: how did he do that, or the moment people are overwhelmed about how you can handle cards. It changes peoples vision on cards, after you performed for them they will probably never forget that. you stabbed them right under their nose, that’s why the card is stuck in the hand. Or for the people that don’t like to see the pic in a serious way, you can also see it as just a pic that shows how extreme we are with the cards =P sorry for my english by the way, im dutch=P

My nickname on the forum is 'clopper'. As instructed on your post here are the reasons why I chose to design as I did.
People always say to me, 'wow, you must take a deck of cards everywhere with you!'
To that I always respond, 'the deck of cards has literally become an extension to of my hand!'

The picture shows the cards in my hand, after all, this is where the always are. The cards enable me to perform miracles for people, to take people to places they have never been, hence the background of my picture: a nebula - literally out of this world!

Many thanks. Paul (clopper)
