You might wonder just why a casino would dump a load of cards as nice as these. They don’t just to decide to sell them off. Something more eventful has to happen… like they change their logo or go out of business. The Wynn isn’t doing either of those.
I heard Bee lost the contract to Gemaco. I haven’t been there myself to verify that but I was told by reliable sources. You can bet that’s a BIG contract to loose.
Casinos go through thousands of decks in a week. They don’t let any slip out either, casino cards are handled under tight security. If a “live” deck were to get in the hands of a cheat they could make a lot of money. Well… they would try to make a lot of money until they got caught by some of the most sophisticated security in the world.
Un-cancelled casino cards like these are rare, they don’t just pop up for sale every day of the week… certainly not with an awesome looking logo, solid color and white border. When they do, it’s a fixed amount because Bee can’t print more unless they win (pun) that contract back. So enjoy them while they last… they are printed on the finest materials available for demanding casino use. Let’s hope they never go full plastic. Yuck!
