This year, a new group was formed to introduce an art for you to experience and share with everyone. Hybrid Binary is group that was founded by Garry (G91292) and Eric (TamMaGIX). We are proud to present our very first collaboration video. This video features one of our new members- James Lai (jlaithechineseguy) who joined us September 15th, 2007. We have been inspired greatly by Virtuoso’s (another and better flourish group) video so we decided to make this as a tribute to them =) There is also a second purpose for this video and that is to properly introduce ourselves =)

How long have you been into magic?
What’s your favourite flourish?
I dont really have a favourite flourish as I do many different kinds, stuff like armspreads, fans, ariels. No doubt these are rare in my flourish videos, but I do them in real life when I actually show laymen this stuff. Not just all Cuts and fucking boring.
Well, I’ll just name one becasue Alejandro wont fucking give it a rest. Lets see.. hmm…. Mockingbird. (What a surprise)
If any, what’s your favourite trick?
Favourite trick, Huron Low’s Making Ends Meet. (Soon to be released in his DVD which was scheduled to have been released 2 or 3 years ago but he seems to be forever working on it so I have no clue when you guys out there will get to see that awesome T&R effect. Actually, I do have a clue… but i think i’d better keep my mouth zipped, dont want to give anything away)
Who would you say is your favourite magician?
Huron Low, It’s always a pleasure to wtach him perform and astound the laypeople he performs to with the bullshit that he does. I’m serious, his magic is really literally, just, bullshit.
How about your favourite flourisher?
Ah, that’s an easy question. Myself.
What cards do you use regularly?
Tally Ho Circle Backs. I really like their design, Very unique. And most of the time the borders are thinner than your usual bikes thus giving u really nice fans, Of course that is partly because of my skill. But yeah, cards with thin borders produce realyl nice fans. They’re also of thinner stock than most decks.
What are you currently practicing?
A cut of mine called ReAnimation
What do you think about the current situations with online magic/flourishing communities?
Well, it’s really boring imo online communities and such. I guess I do visit these online communities to keep myself updated with the things happening in the flourishing community in general, but other than that, there’s nothing else the online communities seem to be able to offer at the moment.
What do you think about Alejandro Portela?
I really honestly think u’re a nice guy. Well, i’ll just say that i can see you as a future Kevin Ho.
What are your feelings towards www.TheCuso.info?
It seems to be a very informative website that is really helpful for beginners and those starting out and having no knowledge at all about Card flourishes and would like to start along this looooooong and winding path of never ending politics between the different communities and flourishers.

I’ve installed a BlogRush widget in the navigation sidebar. Blogrush is a viral service that helps blog owners generate traffic by syndicating their posts to other BlogRushers. The more referrals to BlogRush you get credited for, the more traffic you get. Brilliant idea I must say and its free to sign up!

When should you use the Pass?
When you start performing the pass under less pressure, you’ll likely 
experience a new degree of success. You’ll relax, and your pass will start to achieve a softness you never thought possible. Once you’ve developed that light touch, you’ll keep it when you start applying the shift under more challenging circumstances.
No matter when you choose to use the pass, always remember this: When you can hold the spectators gaze for a moment and the heat is off, only then is it time to make the shift! Happy Practicing!
